October has been a brilliant month for hockey fans, and there are nine more faceoffs scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24. We will focus on four today. Here are our best picks from NHL betting sites in America.

Florida Panthers (4-3-1) at New York Rangers (5-0-1)

Time 7:08 p.m. ET
Money Line/Spread New York (-150/-1.5 (+170), Florida (+125/+1.5 (-210))
Total 6 (over +100/under -120)
Pick NYR (money line)

The New York Rangers are on fire and return to Madison Square Garden to start a string of five of their next six games at home. This will be only the third game of the season back in their friendly confines as they are coming off a 7-2 road win at the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday, Oct. 22 as Filip Chytil tallied two goals.

New York has totaled 31 goals in six games (5.2 per game average) and ranks second in the league. Artemi Panarin leads the team with six goals and seven assists.

The defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers begin a four-game road trip tonight and are 2-2-0 in road games. They are coming off a 5-1 home loss against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Sam Bennett leads the way for the Panthers with five goals and three assists.

Look for the Rangers to stay hot offensively in this key Eastern Conference contest.

Player Props (Anytime Goal Scorers): Chris Kreider (NYR) (+185); Matthew Tkachuk (FLA) (+250).

Dallas Stars (5-2-0) at Boston Bruins (3-3-1)

Time 7:08 p.m. ET
Money Line/Spread Dallas (-120/-1.5 (+200), Boston (+100/+1.5 (-250))
Total 5.5 (over -110/under -110)
Pick BOS (money line)

The Boston Bruins, losers of two straight games, are hoping for some home cooking as they host the Dallas Stars. Boston is coming off a 4-0 road loss to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday, Oct. 22 and will begin a three-game homestand tonight.

They are seeking their first win since a 5-3 road triumph at the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 16. David Pastrnak leads the Bruins with four goals scored.

Dallas is 1-2 in their last three games since opening the season with a four-game win streak. They are coming off a 4-2 road loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Four players lead the team in goals scored with three apiece (Roope Hintz, Matt Duchene, Jason Robertson, and Tyler Seguin).

Expect the Bruins to start strong in this game and get some energy back to start this homestand, where they are 2-1-0 on the young season. Plus, why not double your money in doing so?

Player Props (Anytime Goal Scorers): Brad Marchand (BOS) (+320); Tyler Seguin (DAL) (+300).

Colorado Avalanche (3-4-0) at Utah Hockey Club (4-2-1)

Time 9:08 p.m. ET
Money Line/Spread Colorado (-135/-1.5 (+180), Utah (+115/+1.5 (-225))
Total 6.5 (over -110/under -110)
Pick UTA (money line)

Since opening the season with four straight losses, the Colorado Avalanche have battled back nicely with three straight wins as they visit the Utah Hockey Club to end a three-game road trip.

Colorado is coming off a 3-2 road triumph at the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday, Oct. 22 as Joel Kiviranta tallied two goals to lead the way. The Avalanche had just one penalty in the win. Ross Colton leads Colorado with six goals, while Mikko Rantanen and Casey Mittelstadt each have four goals apiece.

Utah has dropped three of their last four games including a 4-0 home setback to the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday, Oct. 22. This will be their fourth game at home this season, where they are 2-1. Dylan Guenther leads the team with five goals, while Barrett Hayton and Clayton Keller each have four goals apiece.

Both teams are averaging close to 2.5 goals per game, but Utah has the home ice advantage and will be looking for some more offense since their last outing two nights ago. Take Utah in a close one-goal game.

Player Props (Anytime Goal Scorers): Dylan Guenther (UTA) (+190); Casey Middlestadt (COL) (+260).

Winnipeg Jets (6-0-0) at Seattle Kraken (4-3-0)

Time 10:08 p.m. ET
Money Line/Spread Winnipeg (-125/-1.5 (+195), Seattle (+105/+1.5 (-250))
Total 5.5 (over -120/under +100)
Pick SEA (money line)

The foursome of home picks concludes with the Seattle Kraken hosting the Winnipeg Jets, who have the NHL’s best record and franchise record at 6-0-0.

Winnipeg will be playing their second game of a three-game road trip tonight after a 3-2 road triumph at the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Cole Perfetti assisted on all three goals in the win and last year’s Vezina Trophy winner, goalie Connor Hellebuyck made 27 saves to keep the team’s unblemished record alive.

Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor each have five goals apiece to lead the Jets.

Seattle has a 2-2-0 record at home and is coming off a 3-2 home loss to Colorado Tuesday, Oct. 22. Jared McCann scored a second-period goal, his fourth of the season, to notch his 100th career goal with Seattle, the first Kraken player ever to achieve that milestone.

The Kraken are playing their fourth game tonight in a five-game homestand, where they have averaged three goals per game this season. Jordan Eberle leads the team in goals with five.

I think the streak ends tonight for the Jets as Seattle continues their success at home in a close contest.

Player Props (Anytime Goal Scorers): Jordan Eberle (SEA) (+330); Nikolaj Ehlers (WIN) (+280).
