The Golden State Warriors attempt to bring down the undefeated Clevland Cavs, who are now 8-0. Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns battle Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavs in another must-see game. Doncic dropped 40 points in a 12-point loss to the Suns earlier in the season.

We also found some of the best NBA prop bets today involving Karl-Anthony Towns, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Jalen Green, Nikola Jokic, and Kevin Huerter.

Milwaukee Bucks (2-6) at New York Knicks (3-4)

  • Tip-off: 7:30pm ET
  • Point Spread: Knicks -6.5
  • Total: 225 o/u
  • Pick: Knicks -6.5

After winning their season opener, the Bucks dropped seven games in a row before beating the winless Utah Jazz to end their skid last night.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are the top scoring duo in the NBA combining for nearly 60 ppg, but then there’s a huge drop off in offense with Khris Middleton injured. When Bobby Portis (13.3 ppg) is your third-best offensive weapon, you know you’re in trouble.

There are rumors that head coach Doc Rivers could get fired, and the Greek Freak has not been hiding the fact that he wants a trade to either the Knicks or Heat.

The Bucks are in shambles, but the Knicks are struggling as well at 3-4. The Knicks return to NYC to host the awful Bucks at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks are in a favorable spot and catching the Bucks on the second night of back-to-back games.

Karl-Anthony Towns Prop Bet

Over 23.5 points. After a slow start, Karl-Anthony Towns (23.1 points, 13.0 rebounds) averaged 29 ppg over his last four games since he exploded for 44 against the Heat. We love KAT to score more than 24 points as our best NBA prop bets today.

Golden State Warriors (7-1) at Cleveland Cavs (9-0)

  • Tip-off: 7:30pm ET
  • Point Spread: Cavs -4.5
  • Total: 230 o/u
  • Pick: Over 230

The Cavs are the only remaining undefeated team and they keep rolling along despite a handful of narrow victories. The Warriors are 7-1 and didn’t lose a game when Steph Curry went down with an injury. Warriors are fresh off a big road victory against the defending champion Boston Celtics, and improved their road record to 5-0.

The Cavs are the highest-scoring team in the NBA with 123.3 ppg, and the Warriors are third with 121.1 ppg. The Cavs are the second best 3-point shooting team at 42.1%, and Warriors are ranked #4 at 39.3%. We like the over in this one, even though the Warriors have a great perimeter defense.

The Cavs allow opponents to shoot 38.5% from downtown, which is the fourth worst 3-point defense. That’s a great matchup for the Warriors, especially Buddy Hield (50.7% 3PT) and Curry.

Steph Curry Prop Bet

Over 24.5 points. Since his return from an ankle injury, Curry averages 25.5 ppg while shooting 44.5% from deep. We love Curry to score more than 25 points as one of our best NBA prop bets on Friday.

Phoenix Suns (7-1) at Dallas Mavs (5-3)

  • Tip-off: 8:00pm ET
  • Point Spread: Mavs -2.5
  • Total: 228.5 o/u
  • Pick: Suns +2.5

The Suns won six games in a row, but they’re only 2-6 ATS this season. Their last five games had an average margin of victory of 4.6 points. Kevin Durant (27.8 ppg) and Devin Booker (24.4 ppg) are the third highest scoring duo in the NBA that averages 52.2 ppg. They’re scoring just enough to win every night, and we like them as a road dog.

When the Suns beat the Mavs earlier in the season by 12 points, Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 62 points versus 52 from Durant and Booker. The Suns’ bench propelled them to victory and outgunned the Mavs by 23-9.

Kevin Durant Prop Bet

Over 24.5 points. Durant scored 31 points in the first win against the Mavs. He has five 30-point games this season including two in a row. We love him to score more than 24.5 points today, but consider another prop bet where Durant scores 30+ points at +195 odds.

Houston Rockets (5-3) at Oklahoma City Thunder (7-1)

  • Tip-off: 8pm ET
  • Point Spread: Thunder -9
  • Total: 219.5
  • Pick: Under 219.5

Jalen Green Prop Bet

Over 20.5 points. Green has six games this season with at least 21 points. Welcome to “Jalen Jam.” Houston’s Jaen Green leads the team in scoring with 22.6 ppg. The former #2 pick in the draft is probably the best player in the NBA you’re not aware of because he’s been playing in obscurity with the Rockets the last few seasons. We like Green to score more than 20.5 points against the Thunder.

Meanwhile, Jalen Williams from Oklahoma City led the Thunder in scoring three times this season including back-to-back games. He’s now averaging 19.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game.

The Thunder finally lost a game after a 7-0 start. They’re still unbeaten at home at 3-0, and 6-2 ATS overall.

The Thunder have the best defense in the NBA that allows only 99.4 ppg, The Thunder are ranked #2 in defending the trey at 30.3%. They also lead the NBA with 13.4 steals and 7.3 blocked shots per game.

Miami Heat (3-4) at Denver Nuggets (5-3)

  • Tip-off: 9pm ET
  • Point Spread: Nuggets -3.5
  • Total: 221.5 o/u
  • Pick: Nuggets -3.5

The Heat dropped two in a row and three out of their last four games. They recently embarked on a six-game, 11-day road trip. They left sunny and warm Miami and now play in the snowy and thin air of Denver. Tyler Herro is hot and knocked down 20 3-pointers over the last four games including eight in a loss to the Knicks, but the rest of the team is stagnant.

Nikola Jokic Prop Bet

Triple-double for a third straight game and sixth time this season as one of our best NBA prop bets on Friday.

After a slow start, the Nuggets won three in a row and five out of their last six games. They’re banged up, yet chugging along thanks to nightly elite performances from reigning MVP Nikola Jokic. He leads the NBA in rebounds (13.5) and assists (11.0), and he’s fourth in scoring with 28.8 ppg while shooting 54.4% from 3-point range. He has four triple-doubles and narrowly missed two.

LA Clippers (4-4) at Sacramento Kings (5-3)

  • Tip-off: 10pm ET
  • Point Spread: Kings -5.5
  • Total: 224.5 o/u
  • Pick: Kings -5.5

The Kings have one of the NBA’s premier scoring trios with DeMar DeRozan (25.6 ppg), De’Aaron Fox (20.3), and Domantas Sabonis (20.3). They’re struggling from 3-point range (32.5%) as the fifth-worst shooting team in the NBA.

Kevin Huerter Prop Bet

Over 8.5 points. Huerter averaged 11.5 ppg, and scored 10+ points in five consecutive games. Even sniper Kevin ‘Red Velvet’ Huerter is a little off and only shooting 36.1% from downtown.

Sometimes it’s the little things that drive head coaches crazy. Ty Lue is not happy that the careless Clippers average 16.1 turnovers per game, which is the third highest in the NBA. The Clippers shoot only 73.1% from the free-throw line, which is the third lowest in the league.
