Despite recent reports of turbulence in the ‘Bennifer’ marriage, their journey began in true Vegas style a few years back, exchanging vows at midnight in ‘A Little White Wedding Chapel’.

“We flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the world’s wedding capital,” Lopez wrote in her newsletter, according to The New York Times.

Las Vegas earned its title as the wedding capital of the world back in 1931 when Clark County (as the Times put it) “removed the need for blood tests and waiting periods, turning the city into a go-to spot for quick, affordable weddings”.

Today, couples can choose from a wide array of wedding packages, from casual drive-thru ceremonies where T-shirts and shorts are welcomed, to grand celebrations where newlyweds can be ‘Blissed by Elvis’.

With wedding season well and truly here, BonusFinder.com, America’s leading casino bonus and online casino review site, researched which Las Vegas wedding chapels received the best online reviews on Tripadvisor, Facebook, Google and Yelp – as well as which chapels are the most popular on social media.

Top 10 Best-Reviewed Vegas Wedding Chapels

Top 10 Best-Reviewed Vegas Wedding Chapels

Leading the rankings of Las Vegas wedding chapels with top-notch reviews is the Bliss Wedding Chapel, boasting a stellar 4.95 rating out of 5. The ceremonies at the chapel range from a $449 “Bliss With a Kiss” package to the $1,299 “Rolls Royce Ultimate Bliss.” There is also an option for packages with an Elvis impersonator, ranging from $469 to $699.

The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley, who died in 1977, was a longtime performer in Las Vegas showrooms, creating a high-profile image that lives on today with Elvis impersonators available for many occasions. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker famously had a wedding ceremony with an Elvis impersonator, however they later revealed they didn’t have a marriage license.

Elvis-themed weddings remain a big hit in Las Vegas chapels. In fact, the 1964 film ‘Viva Las Vegas’ famously features Elvis Presley’s character, Lucky Jackson, tying the knot with Rusty Martin (Ann-Margret) at the Little Church of the West.

For those seeking other Elvis-related ceremonies, check out themed opportunities at these best-reviewed chapels honoring The King: Elvis Chapel (No. 4) and the Graceland Wedding Chapel (No. 7).

The Graceland Wedding Chapel reigns supreme when it comes to social media, amassing a substantial 161,296 followers across Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).

The Graceland Wedding Chapel has seen its fair share of celebrity visits, including Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Ray Cyrus, Meat Loaf, Aaron Neville and Johnny Depp, according to its website.

No matter which chapel you choose, a Las Vegas wedding is bound to charm those who ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love,’ all while steering clear of the ‘Heartbreak Hotel.’

In each case, the chapels will go out of their way to accommodate.

No matter what, these chapels will always go the extra mile to ensure a perfect experience.

Esports World Cup 2024 – Which US States Are the Most Obsessed with Esports? https://www.chessforeurope.com/news/entertainment/us-states-cities-most-obsessed-esports Wed, 24 Jul 2024 07:13:24 +0000 https://www.chessforeurope.com/?post_type=blog&p=66423 Analyzing Google Trends data over a 12-month period, BonusFinder.com, America’s leading casino bonus and online casino review site uncovered which US states and cities are home to the nation’s biggest gaming enthusiasts.

What is Esports?

Electronic sports, most commonly known as Esports, is a form of gaming that involves professional gamers and teams who compete in organized competitions.

As of 2022, more than 532 million people were following Esports worldwide – a figure that is expected to reach over 640 million by 2025.

The global Esports market revenue is expected to grow up to a whopping 1.87 billion US dollars in 2025. In terms of revenue, North America and Asia are the biggest markets.

What is the Esports World Cup 2024?

Held for the first time ever, the Esports World Cup 2024 is one of the largest events in Esports history. The eight-week tournament, which is currently ongoing, will see an estimated 1,500 gamers and 30 world-renowned teams battle it out in 22 events. The EWC consists of both team and solo competitions and features games such as Dota 2, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Apex Legends, and more.

The EWC has the largest combined prize pool in the history of Esports with over $60 million. The tournament, which is held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, runs from July 4th all the way until August 24th. The organizers have announced that this year’s tournament is just the first of many and the competition will be held annually at the country’s capital.

How Can I Watch the Esports World Cup 2024?

US Esports fans can watch all the action live through DAZN.

What Are the Olympic Esports Games?

The creation of the Olympic Esports Games was announced by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on July 23rd following an unanimous vote. The first competition will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2025.

However, while the details are yet to be made public, it is highly likely that the tournament will not include some of the most popular video games. IOC president Thomas Bach has made it clear in the past that including violent games such as first-person shooter games is a “red line that we will never cross”.

This could mean that games such as Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2, Overwatch and Call of Duty would not be part of the Olympic Esports Games.

If the Olympic Esports Week 2023 is of any indication, the tournament would concentrate on sports-related titles such as Gran Turismo and WBSC eBASEBALL.

Methodology

The list of the 30 NFL stadiums was gathered and three of the most commonly used hashtags were used to calculate the overall number of hashtags.

For example, to calculate the overall number of hashtags for Levi’s Stadium, we used the following hashtags – #levisstadium (214,624), #levistadium (101,235) and #49ersstadium (730), resulting in the overall number of hashtags being the sum of these numbers (316,589).

When calculating the hashtags, changes to the grounds’ name in the past 10 years were taken into account. For example, Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium was known as Heinz Field until July 2022, so the hashtag #heinzfield (173,707) was included in the stadiums’ overall number of hashtags, along with #acrisurestadium (9,963) and #heinzfieldstadium (1,462).

Methodology

The list of 2,746 landmarks was gathered by searching for “the most photographed places”, “the most beautiful places”, “the most instagrammable places” and “most popular landmarks” across America (sourced from travel articles and travel guides).

For each landmark, three of the most commonly used hashtags were used to calculate the overall number of hashtags. For example, to calculate the overall number of hashtags for the Empire State Building, we used the following hashtags – #empirestatebuilding (3,253,866), #theempirestatebuilding (29,400) and #empirestatebuildingnyc (7,385), resulting in the overall number of hashtags being the sum of these numbers (3,290,651).

Caution was taken to differentiate between landmarks that share the same name by specifying the location (either the city or the state) in the hashtag.

When calculating the hashtags for the most instagrammable NFL and MLB stadiums, changes to the grounds’ name in the past 10 years were taken into account. For example, Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium was known as Heinz Field until July 2022, so the hashtag #heinzfield (173,029) was included in the stadiums’ overall number of hashtags, along with #acrisurestadium (8,632) and #steelersstadium (387).

Which Is the Most Haunted State in America? https://www.chessforeurope.com/news/entertainment/most-haunted-state-america Wed, 04 Oct 2023 15:18:40 +0000 https://www.chessforeurope.com/?post_type=blog&p=52454 To kickstart our spectral investigation to find the most haunted state in the US, BonusFinder.com thoroughly analyzed a range of frightening factors, including:

? Cemeteries
? Ghost sightings
? Paranormal activities

We delved into data from the trusted ‘Find a Grave’ website, turned to ‘Ghosts of America’ to compile comprehensive ghost sightings data, and partnered with ‘Ghostquest’ to unearth a wide range of paranormal phenomena in each state.

To maintain accuracy and relevancy, we incorporated population data from World Population Review into our analysis. By standardizing all metrics per 100,000 people, we were able to establish a ‘haunted city score’ for each state. This score provides a comparable evaluation of each state’s level of spectral prominence.

The Most Haunted States in the US

1. Texas (9.8 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 13,710
Ghost sightings: 7,517
Haunted locations: 925
Paranormal investigators: 158

According to our study, the Lone Star State claims the title of the most haunted in America, with several compelling reasons contributing to this deathly distinction. Firstly, Texas boasts an impressive count of over 13,000 cemeteries, ranking second among the top 10 states for the highest number of burial grounds.

Additionally, the iconic Alamo, celebrated for its significant role in Texan history, is rumored to be inhabited by the lingering spirits of the courageous soldiers who once battled there. This legend undoubtedly plays a part in Texas boasting a remarkable 7,517 reported ghost sightings per 100,000 people within the state!

Texas also ranks highest per 100,000 people for the number of haunted locations (925) and the number of paranormal investigators (158).

2. Maine (9.0 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 4,120
Ghost sightings: 800
Haunted locations: 168
Paranormal investigators: 12

Traveling over 3,000 kilometers from Texas to Maine, we discover the Pine Tree State securing its position as the second most haunted state in America. This is underpinned by haunting tales such as the Wood Island Lighthouse keeper, who met his demise and is said to wander the area. Or the legend of the White Lady of Bar Harbor, a bride whose tragic wedding day fate ties her spirit to the Acadia National Park.

Another factor that adds to the “horror” of Maine is it’s known to be the third most dishonest area in America, proving the Pine Tree State to be home to more than ghouls, but white lies too!

With reported ghost sightings tallying up to 800 per 100,000 people and an impressive count of over 168 haunted locations, Maine’s reputation for spectral activity is nothing short of spine-chilling.

=3. Florida (8.8 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 3,463
Ghost sightings: 1,785
Haunted locations: 601
Paranormal investigators: 37

Florida secures joint-third place on the list of the most haunted states. Within its borders lies The Devil Tree, a cursed ancient oak with a blood-soaked reputation. Then there’s Cassadaga, renowned as the “Psychic Capital of the World” for its abundance of psychics and mediums. However, surprisingly, our study revealed that there are only 37 paranormal investigators per 100,000 people in this intriguing state.

Despite having 657 fewer burial grounds compared to Maine (3,463), Florida ranks higher than the second position for the number of ghost sightings (1,785) and haunted locations (601) per 100,000 people, proving there is some darkness in the Sunshine State.

=3. Vermont (8.8 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 1,667
Ghost sightings: 240
Haunted locations: 90
Paranormal investigators: 6

Vermont shares third place with Florida, both scoring 8.8 out of 10. Interestingly, Vermont has a notable location called the Bennington Triangle, which gained fame due to a string of mysterious disappearances in the 1940s. While it’s not necessarily considered a haunted area (although Vermont boasts up to 90 such locations), it has earned a reputation for its eerie events and unexplained phenomena.

In Vermont, you’ll also find numerous spooky inns, hotels, and bed and breakfasts, which are likely responsible for some of the 240 ghost sightings per 100,000 people reported in the state.

Vermont only has six paranormal investigators, which is the same number as in Montana. This represents the lowest paranormal investigator count among all the top 10 ranking states.

5. North Dakota (8.5 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 2,165
Ghost sightings: 409
Haunted locations: 62
Paranormal investigators: 7

North Dakota ranks as the fifth most haunted state in the US, scoring 8.5 out of 10. This state boasts a significant number of cemeteries (over 2,000) and has recorded over 400 ghost sightings.

Among the spooky locations in North Dakota is the San Haven Sanatorium, once a tuberculosis treatment facility, where ghostly apparitions have been sighted. Additionally, the Liberty Memorial Building is known for unexplained temperature fluctuations and the sound of footsteps echoing within its walls.

Interestingly, North Dakota also pips South Dakota to the post for yet another scary factor, being crowned the “naughtiest” of the two Dakotas! Over 85% of North Dakotans have admitted to committing deceitful behavior — meaning it might not just be ghouls residents should look out for!

6. South Dakota (8.4 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 1,868
Ghost sightings: 426
Haunted locations: 88
Paranormal investigators: 8

Moving further south, Mount Rushmore State is the next most haunted US location. While it has 297 fewer cemeteries compared to North Dakota, it records slightly more ghost sightings, totalling 426, and boasts 26 more haunted locations.

One of the standout sites that contributes to South Dakota’s ranking as the sixth most haunted state in America is undoubtedly Mount Moriah Cemetery. The cemetery, serving as the resting place for several famous figures from the Wild West era, has a collection of ghostly stories. Some have even reported sightings of the spirits of Wild West legends like Calamity Jane wandering the grounds!

7. West Virginia (7.6 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 8,207
Ghost sightings: 608
Haunted locations: 154
Paranormal investigators: 7

West Virginia, more than 1,000 kilometers away from South Dakota, features scary sites like the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, a former mental institution believed to be haunted by former patients’ spirits. The abandoned Lake Shawnee Amusement Park, thought to be built on an ancient Native American burial ground, adds to the list of 154 haunted locations in this state.

Despite having just over 8,000 cemeteries, West Virginia reports 608 ghost sightings per 100,000 people.

8. Kentucky (7.5 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 18,589
Ghost sightings: 1,251
Haunted locations: 410
Paranormal investigators: 19

Kentucky is ranked as the eighth most haunted state in America, primarily due to the presence of paranormal places like the Waverly Hills Sanatorium, another former tuberculosis hospital. Kentucky also stands out when it comes to the sheer number of burial grounds per 100,000 people, with over 18,000 cemeteries.

The state also ranks highly for the number of reported ghost sightings, with 1,251, surpassed only by Texas and Florida. Kentucky shares the same count of paranormal investigators as Iowa, with 19 in total.

9. Montana (7.3 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 890
Ghost sightings: 390
Haunted locations: 139
Paranormal investigators: 6

Montana, despite having 17,699 fewer cemeteries than Kentucky, holds the rank of the ninth most haunted state in America. Montana’s diverse landscapes, encompassing the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains, provide the backdrop for over 130 haunted locations, including the infamous Dumas Brothel. The former brothel operated for nearly a century and is renowned for its colorful history and reported hauntings.

Like Vermont, Montana also has only six paranormal investigators per 100,000 people.

10. Iowa (7.1 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 4,905
Ghost sightings: 1,051
Haunted locations: 206
Paranormal investigators: 19

Iowa ranks as the 10th most haunted state in the US, scoring 7.1 out of 10 on the paranormal activity scale. The state records just over 1,000 ghost sightings and has 206 haunted locations per 100,000 people. One of the most famous haunted places in Iowa is the Villisca Axe Murder House, known for its brutal murder in 1912 and widely believed to be haunted.

Iowa shares its count of paranormal investigators with Kentucky, with both states having 19 investigators.

The Least Haunted States in the US

1. New Jersey (0.8 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 1,941
Ghost sightings: 1,102
Haunted locations: 179
Paranormal investigators: 9

The Garden State, New Jersey, is the least haunted in America with a mortifying score of 0.8 out of 10 — a whole nine points fewer than Texas in first place for most haunted. When compared to the Lone Star State, New Jersey has 11,769 fewer cemeteries, 6,415 fewer ghost sightings, and 746 fewer haunted locations. Not to mention 149 fewer paranormal investigators!

2. Arizona (0.9 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 932
Ghost sightings: 805
Haunted locations: 242
Paranormal investigators: 10

Just 0.1 point scarier than New Jersey, Arizona ranks in second place for the least haunted state in America, scoring lower than New Jersey for all factors other than the number of paranormal investigators per 100,000 people (10).

3. Nevada (1.0 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 364
Ghost sightings: 370
Haunted locations: 118
Paranormal investigators: 4

Nevada beats out New York by 0.2 points for third place in the top five least haunted states. Nevada is home to just 364 cemeteries and 118 haunted locations. Only 370 ghost sightings have been reported per 100,000 people.

Nevada ranks lowest on average for all factors in the top five, so, if you’re easily spooked, this third least scary state might be the destination for you!

4. New York (1.2 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 9,740
Ghost sightings: 2,157
Haunted locations: 462
Paranormal investigators: 26

Turns out, the city that never sleeps is only slightly scary! New York is the fourth least haunted state in America. Although, out of the five states considered to be the least haunted, the Empire State does have the highest number of cemeteries (9,740), ghost sightings (2,157), haunted locations (462), and paranormal investigators (26).

5. Maryland (1.6 out of 10)

Cemeteries: 3,040
Ghost sightings: 859
Haunted locations: 205
Paranormal investigators: 8

Closing out the top five least haunted states in America is Maryland, which is interesting considering its close neighbor, West Virginia, is six times scarier with a score of 7.6 out of 10 compared to Maryland’s 1.6.

Compared to West Virginia, Maryland has 5,167 fewer cemeteries but boasts 251 more ghost sightings and 51 more haunted locations per 100,000 people, proving the study’s normalized metrics to be an accurate leveler.

The States With the Highest Number of Ghost Sightings

Texas tops the list with a haunting 7,517 reported ghost sightings, translating to a rate of 247.7 sightings per 100,000 people. The vast and diverse landscape of Texas provides ample opportunities for ghostly encounters, ranging from historic battlefields to old, eerie towns.

Florida takes second place with a total of 1,785 ghost sightings, equating to a rate of 79.8 sightings per 100,000 people. This means that Texas has approximately 123% more ghost sightings than Florida, which is undeniably spooky!

When comparing Texas to North Dakota, the difference is even scarier, with Texas having 179% more ghost sightings than the Flickertail State. North Dakota reports the lowest total number of ghost sightings, at just 409, but with a spooky sighting rate of 50.4 per 100,000 people. Despite its relatively low population density, North Dakota’s open landscapes and harsh winters create a sinister backdrop for ghostly happenings.

Oklahoma completes the list with 1,943 reported ghost sightings, resulting in a rate of 48.3 per 100,000 people. The state’s unique blend of Native American heritage, western history, and the Dust Bowl era contributes to its reputation as a hub for paranormal phenomena.

In the event of the ghouls taking over, it’s unlikely Oklahomans will cope. Oklahoma was found to be the US state least prepared for Doomsday, or a time when something very bad will happen!

Where in the US Has the Most Haunted Places?

The Lone Star State is a hotbed of paranormal activity, as Texas tops our list with an impressive 925 reported haunted places, equating to approximately 30.5 haunted places per 100,000 people.

Following Texas, Florida secures the second position with 601 reported haunted places. Florida’s rate is 26.9 haunted places per 100,000 people. This means that Texas is bursting with 42% more haunted places than the Sunshine State.

Wyoming enters the ranking in third place, with a total of 114 reported haunted places and a rate of 19.5 spooky spots per 100,000 people. One intriguing example is the Occidental Hotel in Buffalo, with a history dating back to the late 19th century, oozing with ghostly happenings.

Comparatively, Texas has a significant 156% more haunted places than Wyoming, highlighting the contrast.

Montana completes the list with 139 reported haunted places. Despite its lower population density, Montana still has a notable presence of haunted locations, accounting for about 12.5 haunted places per 100,000 residents, and a percentage difference of 148% compared to the most haunted state in America, Texas, in first place.

Where Are the Most Paranormal Investigators From?

Texas again leads the way with 158 paranormal investigators, showcasing a robust community of individuals passionate about uncovering the mysteries of the paranormal. With a rate of 5.21 investigators per 100,000 people, Texas has a strong presence in the field.

Florida ranks second with 37 paranormal investigators. While this number is lower than in Texas, which has 124% more paranormal investigators than Florida, the state still shows a dedicated interest in paranormal exploration with a rate of 1.65 investigators per 100,000 people.

Alaska surprises as the third state on our list with 12 paranormal investigators. Despite its remoteness, Alaska demonstrates a notable interest in the unexplained, with a rate of 1.62 investigators per 100,000 people. This also means that Texas has roughly 172% more investigators than Alaska.

South Dakota rounds out the list with eight paranormal investigators, demonstrating a modest presence of individuals curious about the spectral. With a rate of 0.88 investigators per 100,000 people, Mount Rushmore State’s interest in the paranormal is more subtle compared to the other states in the top five.

The Top Five States With the Most Cemeteries

West Virginia stands out as the state with the highest number of cemeteries per 100,000 people at a rate of 462.1. The Mountain State values its heritage and the importance of memorializing loved ones. However, in terms of the total number of cemeteries, Kentucky surpasses West Virginia with over 18,000 resting grounds, which is 77% more than in West Virginia. That’s a rate of 408 cemeteries per 100,000 for the Bluegrass State.

Texas secures second place with 13,710 cemeteries, emphasizing the state honors the departed. Despite its vast size, Texas maintains a rate of 451.8 cemeteries per 100,000 people.

Mississippi follows closely behind with 10,573 cemeteries. The state has a rate of 357.3 cemeteries per 100,000 people, highlighting its traditions related to burial grounds. Notable among them is the Natchez City Cemetery, known for its grand tombs and historic markers. When compared to Kentucky, the Magnolia State has 55% fewer cemeteries overall.

Maine closes out the top five states with 4,120 cemeteries and a rate of 300.2 resting grounds per 100,000 people. Although this total is 66% lower than in West Virginia, which ranks in first place, Maine still maintains a presence of cemeteries that reflects the state’s commitment to preserving its people.

Best Cities for Visiting NFL Fans https://www.chessforeurope.com/news/entertainment/best-nfl-cities Mon, 25 Sep 2023 13:08:49 +0000 https://www.chessforeurope.com/?post_type=blog&p=52125 While the best cities might vary depending on what experiences you are seeking and who you are traveling with, we’ve created a comprehensive list of the cities based on nine different categories. This way you can choose the factors that best fit your needs and preferences!

You can find the full list of the cities and their rankings at the end of this article.

1. Detroit, Michigan (81.7 out of 100)

Topping our list of the best cities for visiting NFL fans is Detroit, the home of Motown and the birthplace of the modern automobile. The city is also home to four major league sports teams – the Detroit Lions (NFL), the Detroit Tigers (MLB), the Detroit Pistons (NBA) and the Detroit Red Wings (NHL) – so there’s always some sporting heritage to be enjoyed when you’re killing time before the big kick off.

With the Pistons being the second oldest team in the NBA and the Lions being the fifth oldest team in the NFL, the city has a long, established history among the great sports cities in the US.

Located in downtown Detroit, the Lions’ home ground of Ford Field ranked on the fifth place of the most iconic stadiums category. Scoring an average review score of 4.4, the stadium opened its doors in 2002 and has been hashtagged in Instagram nearly 100,000 times.

Thanks to the central location of the stadium, it also ranked first on the number of bars within walking distance, boasting a whopping 129 bars in a 1-mile radius.

For more sports action, NFL fans visiting the city can also head to the Comerica Park to watch some baseball, or to the Little Caesars Arena to watch either basketball or ice hockey.

If you’re looking to do some gambling while in the city, there are three brick-and-mortar casinos to choose from. However, Michigan is also a great place for online gambling and there are some amazing welcome offers that you should check out if you’re visiting Chicago.

2. Chicago, Illinois (81.38 out of 100)

Most famous for its stunning architecture and deep-dish pizza, the Windy City is also known for its passion for sports. The city is home to four major league sports teams, including the Chicago Bears (NFL), the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL), the Chicago Cubs (MLB), and the Chicago White Sox (MLB), providing plenty of entertainment before watching your team.

Placing second on our list of the best NFL cities for visiting fans, the city’s strengths lie in the Chicago Bears’ long legacy as well as the history and popularity of their stadium.

Soldier Field, which is located near the Chicago downtown area, opened in 1924, making it the oldest stadium in the league. Adding to this perfect score, it is also the second most popular stadium on social media with nearly 226,000 hashtags (with only New York’s MetLife Stadium generating more hashtags) helping the stadium take second place for the category of the most iconic stadiums.

The other contributing factor that secured the city a place so high up on the list comes from the Bears’ success and history. Founded 1920, the team is the third oldest team in the NFL. Thanks to its long legacy and the fact that the Bears have the most players introduced to the Pro Football Hall of Fame (35), the city placed fourth on the category measuring the prestige of the franchise.

When it comes to other game day activities, sports fans will be pleased to know that there are three other stadiums to visit for major league sports action (Wrigley Field, Guaranteed Rate Field and United Center). Chicago Sports Museum, an interactive museum showcasing the city’s sports history, is also a must visit for NFL fans!

Those looking for some evening excitement will also be delighted to know that Chicago has the second most sports bars (58) within a 5-mile radius from the stadium. If you’re looking to place a wager or two, Chicago is also a great place for doing so, with eight casinos located within a short drive from the stadium. Illinois also has a variety of great online casinos and sportsbooks for those interested in gambling.

If these are not enough of a reason to visit Chicago, the Bears fans were also voted as the second sexiest fanbase in the NFL by supporters of other NFL teams!

3. New Orleans, Louisiana (77.05 out of 100)

Taking third place is New Orleans, the party hotspot on the Mississippi River, known for its street parties, round-the-clock nightlife and cultural diversity. When it comes to sports, NOLA is home to two professional sports teams – the New Orleans Saints (NFL) and the New Orleans Pelicans (NBA).

Those visiting the city should not miss the legendary pre- and post-game celebrations in the French Quarter with their great food, music and a festive atmosphere.

The Saints’ home field, Caesars Superdome, is located at the heart of the city’s Central Business District, 0.6 miles from the city center and 1.4 miles from the French Quarter.

It opened in 1975, making it the fifth oldest stadium in the league. It also ranked fifth on its average review score, with 4.4 out of 5, and second highest for its central location.

Those visiting the stadium should consider visiting the Saints Hall of Fame or the adjacent Smoothie King Center that is home to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Overall, NOLA is among the best cities to visit if you’re looking for a party, with the city ranking third on the number of bars within walking distance from the stadium (120) and seventh on the number of sports bars in the vicinity (39).

New Orleans also ranked as the best city for gamblers, with visitors able to choose between online sports betting and the city’s 18 casinos located near the stadium.

4. Charlotte, North Carolina (76.37 out of 100)

Known as the “Queen City”, the fourth place on our list goes to Charlotte, North Carolina, the home of the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers’ home field, Bank of America Stadium, first opened in 1996 as Ericsson Stadium, and is the eighth oldest stadium still in use in the NFL.

Located in uptown Charlotte, the stadium ranked in the top 3 for its closeness to the city center and second highest on the number of bars within a walking distance (124).

It also ranked fifth on the number of sports bars within a 5-mile radius (43).

Other exciting sports-related attractions in the city include the Spectrum Center, home of the NBA team Charlotte Hornets, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

And not to forget the Southern hospitality, the Panthers fans were ranked among the most liked by the supporters of other teams!

5. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (75.8 out of 100)

Completing our list of the Top 5 cities for visiting NFL fans is Pittsburgh, the city in southwest Pennsylvania known as “the Steel City” or “the City of Bridges” – the latter nickname due to the fact that the city has 446 bridges – more than any other city in the world.

Passionate about their sports, Pittsburgh is home to three major league teams: the Pittsburgh Pirates (MLB), the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) and of course, the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers.

Founded in 1933, the Steelers have a long and successful history. Sharing the first place for the most Super Bowls wins (6) with the New England Patriots, the Steelers also come in second for the highest number of MVP players (6) and fourth highest on the number of players introduced to the Pro Football Hall of Fame (30).

In addition to placing third on the rankings for franchise prestige, the Steelers’ Acrisure Stadium received the third highest score on customer reviews (4.53 out of 5). It was also ranked in the Top 5 in the NFL for the best atmosphere!

The city is also home to two other major league stadiums: PNC Park (Pittsburgh Pirates) and PPG Paints Arena (Pittsburgh Penguins). As a passionate sports city, Pittsburgh is also home to Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, located in the Heinz History Center.

Those traveling with children should visit the Carnegie Science Center’s interactive Highmark SportsWorks.
