Based on data collected directly from U.S. online casino operators, three new slot games have jumped into the top 25, according to a monthly report published by Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG).

EKG’s monthly Online Game Performance Report (OGPD) tracks how games perform in the U.S. online casino market. “This is a sample and may not be representative of the overall market,” the report says. EKG is always adding new casinos to their database for the report.

For October’s report, 33 casino sites were tracked providing over 50,000 datapoints across five states (Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia) accounting for nearly 65% of U.S. gross gaming revenue.

Games appearing in the report are ranked by a Theo Win Index number. This number describes the expected house win for a player, based on the total amount wagered by the player and the game played.

Mega Diamond (Average Bet: $1.69 / Theo Win Index: 17.61)

The October “New Top Game Ranks – Slots” chart in EKG’s report shows Mega Diamond ranked No. 1 as a new online game. Meda Diamond slot machines for brick-and-mortar retail casinos were made available a year ago by American Gaming Systems (AGS).

“Mega Diamond from AGS enters the OGPD ranking #1 in the new slot ranks,” said Rick Eckert, Managing Director – Slot Performance & Analytics at EKG. “This theme has been tracked in our retail database since July ’22 and was ranked 25th last month in the Core Video Reel High Denom segment where it is currently performing best at the $1 base denomination.”

Mega Diamond is available at BetMGM, DraftKings, WynnBET and BetRivers.

Trojan Kingdom (Average Bet: $1.19 / Theo Win Index: 6.90)

This Greek-mythology-themed slot takes the player on a journey to the historic city of Troy. The game is based on two young rulers – the Blue Queen and her Red Warrior. Your goal is to win over the queen in her favorite bonus coin game of big rewards.

Keep collecting the queen’s tokens, and one day she’ll invite you to enter the Trojan Horse treasury. Win over the queen in a match-three-coin game and get one of the four Gifts of Beauty – 15x, 40x, 250x, or 10,000x your bet.

Trojan Kingdom is played on a 5×4 reel screen with 30 active paylines. The game has a Return-To-Player rating of 94.17% to 96.12%. RTP is the term casinos use to describe the percentage a game will pay back to players over time.

Trojan Kingdom is available at BetMGM Casino Ontario.

Buffalo (Average Bet: $0.88 / Theo Win Index: 6.04)

Anaxi’s much-anticipated release of their Buffalo game makes its debut in the OGPD report ranking No. 9 in new slots. “This title is the top-grossing game in retail casinos,” Eckert said.

Anaxi announced last month their Buffalo slot was now available at online casinos in New Jersey. NJ online casino players will be able to recreate the excitement of the famous Buffalo slot machines found on casino floors in the palm of their hands.

Slot players can get a stampede of big wins playing Buffalo. Try your luck at winning 8, 15 or 20 free games when landing 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols. During the free games, each wild symbol that appears anywhere on reels 2, 3 or 4 will multiply the total win for that spin. The free games feature can also be triggered again during the round.

Anaxi’s Buffalo game can be found at BetMGM, FanDuel and BetRivers.
