Two of the top teams from the AFC East square off on Thursday Night Football in Week 2 when the Miami Dolphins host the Buffalo Bills. Both teams won their season opener, but this divisional tilt will feature some of the top offensive weapons in the NFL. There’s no shortage of Bills vs. Dolphins player props at US betting apps, and we found a few interesting bets of note.

Bills vs Dolphins TD Scorer Prop Odds

Touchdown prop bets are always fun, and you have the option to bet on the first touchdown scored, an anytime TD, and multiple TDs. So which player will score the first touchdown on Thursday Night Football? These are some popular Bills and Dolphins player props according to DraftKings Sportsbook:

Player First TD Anytime TD 2+ TDs
Tyreek Hill +550 -130 +450
Josh Allen +650 -115 +500
De Von Achane +650 -105 +600
James Cook +900 +135 +850
Jaylen Waddle +1000 +140 +1000
Dalton Kincaid +1400 +215 +1800
Khalil Shakir +1700 +250 +2500

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane sat out of practice on Monday with a sore ankle. With a quick turnaround in a short week, the Dolphins will limit his participation, and he will most likely be a game-time decision on Thursday evening.

In goal-line situations for the Bills, expect Josh Allen to score a touchdown on a QB keeper. It happened twice against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1. Allen is +650 odds to score the first touchdown of the game, -115 for an anytime TD, and +500 odds to score multiple TDs.

Fans of the Dolphins are never shy betting a player prop on Tyreek Hill to score multiple touchdowns, especially whenever they play the Bills. However, Hill’s odds should be much higher than +450. Since joining the Dolphins in 2022, Hill only has three instances when he scored multiple touchdowns.

Bills vs Dolphins Best Passing Props

Player Prop Bet Over Odds Under Odds Additional Prop Odds
Josh Allen Passing Touchdowns (1.5 o/u) +120 (Over) -155 (Under) +550 for 3+ passing touchdowns
Josh Allen Passing Yards (238.5 o/u) N/A N/A +400 for 300+ passing yards
Tua Tagovailoa Passing Touchdowns (1.5 o/u) -135 (Over) +105 (Under) +285 for 3+ passing touchdowns
Tua Tagovailoa Passing Yards (266.5 o/u) N/A N/A +205 for 300+ passing yards

This week’s quarterback matchup between the Dolphins and Bills offers several enticing player props. The Dolphins tend to pass more than the Bills, especially with the top WR in football with Hill, but if this game ends up as a shootout, then Allen will have to rely on his arm to keep the Bills in the game.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins listed both of their primary running backs on the injury list. Neither Achane nor Raheem Mostert practiced so far. Mostert has a chest injury, which seems vague, but he could be dealing with a ribs injury that the Dolphins are downplaying.

Both quarterbacks have an over/under for passing touchdowns set at 1.5 o/u. Allen is +120 for the over. At -155 odds for the under 1.5 touchdowns, the market expects Allen to throw less than two touchdowns. Allen torched the Dolphins for six passing touchdowns in two games last season, including four in their first meeting in Week 4, and two more in the final game of the season.

Meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa is -135 for over 1.5 touchdowns, and +105 for the under. A healthy Tagovailoa played in all 17 games last season. He tossed at least one touchdown in 16 games, and had eight instances with two or more TDs.

Bills vs Dolphins Best Receiving Props

According to current player prop bets at NFL betting sites, the Dolphins group of WRs are expected to post better reception numbers than the Bills. Hill leads all players with a 6.5 over/under in receptions. Waddle is second overall with 4.5 o/u.

In 16 games in 2023, Hill caught seven or more passes 10 times last season. Hill hauled in seven receptions in Week 1 against the Jaguars.

In 14 games last season, Waddle caught five or more passes eight times. Waddle tallied five catches against the Jaguars in the opening game.

Both of the primary WRs on the Bills are set at 3.5 o/u receptions, including rookie Keon Coleman and veteran Khalil Shakir. Coleman caught passes in his NFL debut against the Cardinals, and Shakir added three receptions.

Hill has an over/under of 98.5 receiving yards against the Bills. In 34 games with the Dolphins, Hill tallied 100 yards or more in a game 15 times. In Week 1, he accounted for 130 receiving yards against the Jaguars.

During 14 games in his rookie season in 2023, Waddle had seven games in which he tallied 63 or more receiving yards. In Week 1, Waddle caught 109 receiving yards.

In Week 1’s victory over the Cardinals, Coleman led the Bills with 51 receiving yards. Shakir was second with 42 yards. Heading into the Thursday Night Football game, Coleman has a receiving yards total of 44.5 o/u, and Shakir is 40.5 o/u.

Although Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid was held to just one reception for 11 yards in Week 1, his yards total is currently 45.5 o/u against the Dolphins. You can bet Kincaid to catch for 50+ yards at +115 odds. In 16 games as a rookie last season, Kincaid caught 50+ yards on six occasions including the last game of the season when he hauled in seven catches for 84 yards against the Dolphins.
