NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds 2024: Jayden Daniels Emerges as the New Favorite
The Chicago Bears selected USC star quarterback Caleb Williams with the #1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Williams is the consensus favorite on NFL betting sites to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year (OROY), and his odds are priced between +120 and +140 at US betting sites.

2024 NFL OROY Week 2 Updates – Jayden Daniels the New Favorite
Daniels delivered a great performance for the Washington Commanders, completing 79.3% of his passes for 226 yards in their 21-18 win over the New York Giants. Despite not throwing any touchdowns, his high completion rate and ability to move the ball effectively were key to the team’s success.
On the other hand, both Caleb Williams and Marvin Harrison, Jr. had modest games in comparison.
Caleb Williams (QB, Chicago Bears)
Best OROY Odds: +140 Caesars Sportsbook
The Bears endured numerous subpar quarterbacks this century, which is why their legion of diehard superfans are excited they drafted a franchise quarterback like Caleb Williams. Selecting quarterbacks with the #1 pick is always a huge gamble, but the Bears are praying that Williams lives up to the hype and does not fall short of expectations like Justin Fields.
The Bears have a decent squad on both sides of the ball, so Williams is not exactly walking into a terrible situation with the worst team in the league. The defense is solid, and the offense has several weapons and veterans to support him like DJ Moore and Keenan Allen. The Bears also drafted the excitable Rome Odunze, a top-notch WR from the Washington Huskies.
Williams is the betting favorite to win OROY at all the major sportsbooks. His best price right now is +140 odds at Caesars, but you can find him as low as +120 at FanDuel.
Jayden Daniels (QB, Washington Commanders)
Best OROY Odds: +600 FanDuel Sportsbook
Jayden Daniels provides the Commanders with a dynamic dual-threat quarterback. Scouts compared the highly touted Daniels to Lamar Jackson due to his evasiveness in the pocket and ability to throw on the run. Daniels completed 72.2% of his passes last season at LSU and accounted for 50 touchdowns, including 10 rushing scores.
Daniels impressed new Commanders head coach Dan Quinn, who quickly tapped Daniels as the Week 1 starter. Daniels has a chance to thrive in offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury’s system in a similar manner to Kyler Murray during his first couple of seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
Daniels is the second favorite on the board behind Williams, which makes him an enticing value pick. At the low-end of the market, Daniels is +475 odds to win the OROY at DraftKings. You can fetch a price on Daniels as high as +600 on FanDuel.
Marvin Harrison, Jr. (WR, Arizona Cardinals)
Best OROY Odds: +700 BetMGM Sportsbook, Caesars
If you want to avoid a rookie quarterback, then take a flier on a first-year wide receiver. Then again, Marvin Harrison, Jr. is not your typical rookie. The standout from Ohio State has an inside edge because his father, Marvin Harrison, Sr., was a former All-Pro WR and former Super Bowl champion with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Arizona Cardinals selected Harrison, Jr. with the fourth-overall pick in the draft. They are thrilled to pair up the nation’s top incoming WR with quarterback Kyler Murray. You can back Harrison, Jr. right now at BetMGM or Caesars at +700 odds.
Bo Nix (QB, Denver Broncos)
Best OROY Odds: +1100 FanDuel
The Denver Broncos overpaid for Russell Wilson in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks and finally parted ways with the washed-up veteran in the offseason. After consecutive disastrous seasons with Wilson at the helm, there’s a glimmer of hope in the Mile High City thanks to rookie QB Bo Nix.
Nix began his collegiate career with the Auburn Tigers before he transferred and found success with the Oregon Ducks. Last season in Oregon, the judicious Nix tossed 45 touchdowns and only three interceptions. The Broncos selected Nix as the #12 overall pick.
Broncos head coach Sean Payton promoted Nix to the starting quarterback role after an impressive training camp and preseason. Because Wilson had set the bar so low in Denver, anything slightly above competent will be a successful season for Nix.
Williams and Daniels are under intense scrutiny as the top two picks in the draft, but Nix does not have that same amount of pressure. Many bettors think a relaxed Nix could make a bigger impact as an under-the-radar rookie QB. Nix’s best price to win OROY is +1100 odds at FanDuel, but he’s as low as +900 odds at BetMGM.
Malik Nabers (WR, New York Giants)
Best OROY Odds: +1500 FanDuel
Malik Nabers was a unanimous All-American WR at LSU as a trusted teammate and favorite target of Jayden Daniels. Nabers caught 89 passes and 14 touchdowns in 13 games last season for the Tigers. The New York Giants desperately needed to upgrade their offense and selected Nabers with the sixth-overall pick.
Backing Nabers is a risky proposition because the Giants do not have a talented quarterback. Daniel Jones looked awful in the preseason and he lacks the accuracy and arm strength to properly take advantage of a wunderkind like Nabers. Perhaps if head coach Brian Daboll benches Jones in favor of backup Tommy DeVito, then Nabers will get an opportunity to show off his deft skills.
Nabers is as low as +1200 odds at Caesars, but you can back him to win OROY at +1500 odds at FanDuel.
