? How to Play Reactoonz
Reactoonz isn’t your typical slot with a few spinning reels. Reactoonz is played on a 7×7 grid, and it features cascading symbols and cluster pays. To create a winning combination, you need to have five or more symbols touching horizontally or vertically. Once you hit a winning combination, the winning symbols are removed, and new symbols are dropped from the top of the page. This feature can be retriggered as long as new winning combinations are created.
Reactoonz looks more complicated than it actually is. On the left side of the screen is a board that shows the winning combinations that were triggered by your spin. The majority of the screen is occupied by the gaming grid, while the bottom bar contains all the buttons. The spin button is easy to find: it’s the big green button on the right side of the bottom bar.
For a new player, the biggest enigmas are probably the machine and the creature on the right side of the screen. The machine, Quantum Leap, is the key to the special features of Reactoonz. The creature, Gargantoon, behaves like a wild symbol when in play.
Symbols in Reactoonz
Reactoonz has eight symbols, each being its own unique alien. There’s also a wild symbol in Reactoonz, which is easily recognizable thanks to its swirling, shiny animation. Wild symbols can appear randomly after a non-winning spin or as the after-effect of a winning combination featuring a Fluctuating Symbol.
If you have four matching symbols in a square, they will automatically combine into one big symbol, Giantoonz. If a Giantoonz is a part of a winning combination, the wins are doubled.
Fluctuating Symbol
For each spin, one random one-eyed symbol will be marked as the Fluctuating Symbol. These symbols will be marked with a special cyan and pink aura, making them easy to tell apart. If they’re part of a winning combination, they leave wild symbols behind.
RTP, Volatility & Maximum Win
Reactoonz is a high-volatility slot with an RTP of 96.51%. The online slot doesn’t actually state the maximum win (or any of the other statistics), but the common understanding is that the maximum win is 4,750x.
? Reactoonz Bonus Features
Unlike many other online slots, free spins don’t play a part in Reactoonz. What makes this particular slot machine special is the Quantum Leap feature, which could amplify your wins a thousandfold.
Quantum Leap is the machine on the top right corner of the game screen. Once you trigger a winning combination, the Quantum Leap machine will charge up. The color within the machine will indicate the Quantum Feature that will be triggered after winning with 25 symbols.
Quantum Leap can queue up to 4 Quantum features. A Quantum feature will be triggered once there are no more winning combinations in play. If you’ve managed to queue up four features, the fifth charge will trigger the Gargantoon feature.
Quantum Features
There are four different Quantum features that can be triggered by Quantum Leap:
- Alteration: picks a random one-eyed symbol and turns all matching symbols into another symbol
- Demolition: destroys all one-eyed symbols
- Implosion: turns 3-6 symbols into wild symbols and destroys all adjacent symbols
- Incision: creates a wild symbol at the center of the screen and two diagonal lines with the same random symbol
Gargantoon
When the Quantum Leap queue reaches the fifth stage, the Gargantoon awakens! The Gargantoon is a 3×3 size alien that will appear on the grid, acting as a wild symbol. Then, after the winning combinations have been triggered, the Gargantoon divides into two 2×2 wild symbols and then into nine regular wild symbols. For each division, the symbols will cascade before the Gargantoon moves.
